E-waste Disposal

Scott and Rock Island County residents are welcome to drop off electronic waste free of charge and with no appointment at our location at the Electronics Recovery Center, 5650 Carey Ave, Davenport.

Residents of other counties as well as businesses can drop off electronic waste and batteries for a fee

What e-waste can I drop off?
Computers, screens, televisions, cell phones, printers, cartridges, copiers, stereos, batteries, or any digital electronic device with a screen or circuit board can be shredded, recycled, or reused through our program. Scott County Residents can click here to search for more recycling and disposal information.

Our Commitment to E-Waste Privacy

Privacy is our number one priority. All data we receive is securely managed and destroyed.

Our technicians use state-of-the-art hardware and software to destroy all information found on hard drives slated for reuse. The success of this process is then validated through a second, independent review of every drive.

Shop for Gently Used Electronics

We partner with Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Davenport, Iowa, to sell refurbished laptops, computers, and other electronic and musical devices such as turntables, DVD, stereo, players and more.

We also utilize an eBay store to sell refurbished electronics. We add new items as they become available, so please check back often or “save” our store for updates.
