Cell 10 Construction Project at the Scott Area Landfill

The Scott Area Landfill, located at 11555 110th Ave, Davenport, is accepting electronic bids for the Cell 10 Construction Project.

Project Description: The project includes excavation and associated earthwork, utility installation, and the construction of Cell 10 along with its adjacent stormwater ponds.

Bid Submission: All bids must be submitted through Quest CDN, referencing Quest ID 9917965.

Deadline for Submittal: December 1, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. (CST)

Public Hearing: A public hearing will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. (CST) at the Scott Area Recycling Center, 5640 Carey Ave, Davenport.
The bid award will be announced immediately following the public hearing.

All WCSC Facilities will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Normal hours resume Saturday, July 5 with all facilities open 8 to 11:30am.

All WCSC Facilities will be closed September 1 in observance of Labor Day. Normal hours resume September 2.

All WCSC Facilities will be closed November 27 in observance of Thanksgiving Day. Normal hours resume Friday, November 28.

All WCSC Facilities will be open until noon on December 24 and CLOSED December 25. Normal hours resume on December 26.

All WCSC Facilities will be closed Thursday, January 1 in observance of New Year's Day. Normal hours resume January 2.

WCSC Facilities open regular hours on Friday, April 18. The Scott Area Landfill will be closed Saturday, April 19 in observance of Easter. Normal hours resume April 21, 2025.

All WCSC Facilities are open regular hours on President's Day (February 17).

All WCSC Facilities are open regular hours on Juneteenth (June 19).

All WCSC Facilities are open regular hours on Veteran's Day (November 11).

Due to strong winds, the Scott Area Landfill will close at noon on Friday, March 14th.

Normal hours resume on Saturday, March 15th, 8 am - 11:30 am.

Attention: Concrete repair occurring on Scott Area Landfill's main driveway from 7/24-7/27.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane. Watch for flaggers directing traffic during the repair.
