Product Reuse

Approximately 25 percent of the material received through the Household Hazardous Material Program can be re-used. These items are sorted and prepared for Product Reuse, which is located at the Scott Area Recycling Center. Residents are invited to take, at no charge, automotive, home improvement, paint-related, household, and lawn/garden products. Each household is allowed 15 items per calendar month.

PLEASE NOTE: Effective March 6, 2023, the Product Reuse building is closed due to damage to the exterior doors. The building will be closed until repairs can be made or a different permanent location can be found. A temporary cart with reuse material will be available outside the product reuse doors. If weather is deemed unsafe or undesirable for the outside area, the items will not be placed outside. For any questions, please contact mail@wastecom.com.

7:30 a.m.- 4:15 p.m. Monday
7:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Tuesday-Friday

Open 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. the first Saturday of the month year-round.
