Electronics Reuse Program

The Electronics Recovery Center tests electronic items (like computers, hard drives, and flat-screen monitors) for key functions and refurbishes them for sale through the Reuse Program.
Why reuse electronics?
Reuse saves natural resources, extends the life of discarded electronics, and retains their value close to home. Reuse also is a requirement of the
R2:2013 (Responsible Recycling) standard that we follow.

Data security: our highest priority
All data we receive is securely managed and destroyed.
Our technicians use state-of-the-art hardware and software to destroy all information found on hard drives slated for reuse. The success of this process is then validated through a second, independent review for every drive. Finally, the data-destruction process is audited on a regular basis by a third party.
Our facility is certified to several internationally recognized standards that set the bar for performance in several areas: data security, downstream management of potentially harmful materials, environmental, and health & safety. Read more about these on
Our Certifications page.
