Waste Commission of Scott County provides free disposal of residential household hazardous materials that can be found in the kitchen, bathroom, basement, garage and workshop such as:

  • Pesticides
  • Cleaners
  • Automotive products
  • CFLs and Fluorescent Tubes

We ask that you make an appointment using our online form so that we can have trained staff on-hand to serve you in an efficient and timely manner. This is a free service to residents of both Scott and Rock Island counties. (Cost for Rock Island County residents covered by Rock Island County Waste Management Agency).
