How do I recycle electronic waste or e-waste?
The Commission’s Electronic Demanufacturing Facility offers environmentally sound recycling and secure data destruction for both residents and businesses of Scott and Rock Island . E-waste includes items such as TVs, computers, monitors, cell phones, stereos, DVD players, VCRS, etc. Visit the e-waste page or call 563-823-0119 for more information.

How do I dispose of paint, pesticides, cleaners and other hazardous materials in my home?
These items can be safely disposed through the Commission’s Household Hazardous Material program in either Buffalo or Davenport. It’s a free service to both Scott County, Iowa and Rock Island County, Illinois residents. Appointments are required and can be made online or by calling 563-381-1300.
